International Horizons

International Horizons
This 2008 report explored
international connections and the potential for increased employability for the creative sector in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire based on the findings of this research study. The study focused on the role of the creative sector in delivering regeneration outputs rather than on the development of international collaborations in, or the exporting of, performance or visual art projects.

Derbyshire Arts Develpment Group

Picture
This research programme was commissioned by Derbyshire Arts Development Group to look into the barriers for Derbyshire residents to attending and participating in arts events.  The research, a collaboration between Cultural Consortium and Nottingham Trent University was one of the first to use the Citizens Panel, which created a potentially huge sample in comparison to other arts sector audience research questionnaires and was undertaken in each district authority so the responses could be compared and contrasted.

NALGAO Good Companion Guide

The "Good Companion" report
This report was originally commissioned by the national association in 2008 and is still in use today.  It was designed as an introduction for newly-appointed ADOs, propose contacts, cut through the jargon and dispel -as far as possible - the isolation felt by new officers.  It was designed to be part of the induction process, and help ADOs understand how the arts helps deliver local authorities’ priorities.

-       West Lindsey Churches Festival (90+ Christian rural churches)
-       Southwell Minster
-       Shree Hindu Temple, Leicester
-       Sikh Youth & Community Service, Nottingham
